About Me

I'm a huge Tony Stark/Iron Man fan– I even dedicated my master's thesis to the fictional guy– and, if I can help it, my scientific contributions to the world will involve brain-robot interaction and exoskeleton technology.

Meanwhile, I'm the Lamba Labs communication manager, a.k.a. Breaker, Breaker, the resident silkscreen printing go-to-guy, and somewhat of a namer of things (yes, members keep asking me to name events, products, …). I also offer my technical skills to projects here at Lamba Labs when the need arises as a tinkerer/programmer, while I thoroughly obsess over my actual job as an event curator at AltCity.

On top of that, I'm a technical researcher/writer/editor. At my thesis defense, the committee suggested I switch from engineering to writing– I didn't know whether that was a compliment to my writing skills or an insult to my engineering skills, though…

  • A proximity-sensor-based musical instrument, erroneously (but endearingly) dubbed “The Laser Harp”.

Stay tuned! More of me will be involved with Lamba Labs …

To quote my fellow Lamba, Bassam: “I'm not an engineer; I'm a human being!”

On that note, I'm an amateur fiction writer. I self-published a book of short stories when I was 15 years old and I've been trying to hone my humble skills ever since. Right now, I'm trying to get inspired by such epics as A Song of Ice and Fire and The Wheel of Time.

Oh and I'm also an avid PS3 (soon to be PS4?) gamer. I tend to prefer third-person action-adventures and Western RPGs, with some miscellaneous stuff on the side. I'm also a fan of games that've spawned their own media franchises, which hold animated films, comic books, and novels to their names. Here's my gamer card:
