Creative Commons Labs @ Lamba Labs

About the Event

Lamba Labs and the Lebanese Creative Commons Community are finally collaborating to bring you a first-of-its-kind Creative Commons Labs event, for the academic community in Lebanon.

In the spirit of openness, we'll open our doors to debate the importance of Open Access and Open Educational Resources as well as their use within the scientific community. Then, we'll go on to examine how Creative Commons licenses can provide an easy and safe platform to share publications and scientific findings publicly.

As though that level of engagement weren't enough, you won't want to miss the scheduled talks by:

  • Dr. Pierre El Khoury, Creative Commons' legal representative in Lebanon- about the legal aspect of creative commons licenses
  • Naeema Zarif- about Creative Commons for Open Access and Open Educational Resources.

After we hear them out, we'll all get our chance to share our experiences and opinions as we hang around the space and continue the discussion publicly; by then, we're sure you'll have plenty to talk about!
